Natural Hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

How long should my hair be????

i'm african american. i have been growing my hair out since april. My hair is passed my neck with tons of new growth. I'm getting a perm on august 8th. How long should my hair be taken that i didnt get a perm since april. Thanks, everyone. My hair is super thick.

Natural Hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

a little longer than your sholder

Natural Hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Some people can grow their hair easily while others take a while.

I know in Aus you can by vitamins which help with hair growth so maybe you can try taking some supplements if you really want to give your hair some help.

Natural Hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Well they say hair grows bout 4 inch a year..... or something like that. Why are you going to perm your hair. Since you have reached this point in growing it out, why dont you remain natural. I have been natural for 2 years. I dont have what the magazines call good hair, but i have natural wavy and managable hair. Being natural is a good feeling. Try it. Or ask some people before you go back to being permed.

Natural Hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Don't worry so much as to how long your hair is, but if its healthy. My advice to you, is not to relax your hair unless you have to, especially if growth is what your after. From my experience hair grown faster when it its natural, get a press or a flat iron every week and you should be fine! Your hair will grow much faster, but if your taking long periods of time in between relaxers that's telling me your not being seen regularly by a cosmetologist and you may not be keeping up on reg conditioning and hair trims. STAY NATURAL!

i got my relaxed hair cut a week ago and now its about three inches long. in the future i want to get double-strand twists in my hair when it grows a little longer. but for now im going to consider getting my hair braided with weave. is this a bad idea? im hoping my hair will grow with the braiding whats the best style i should consider. i have very thick course hair. its types 4b. i put pink hair lotion on my hair while its wet but it drys up a couple of min later. i use grease in my hair but it wears it down. what should i do about this situation.?

plz help.

Natural hair?

I'm a 3c natural. Welcome to the club! The first thing that you want to consider is how to help your hair grow in a health state. Sew-ins are a good idea, but it is important to maintain your natural hair. With 4b type hair, be sure to keep the scalp moisturized and to get your hair rebraided every 3-5 weeks to prevents matting and excessive breakage. Keep your ends trims every 4-6 weeks and avoid excessive heat treatments. The double strand twist will come in time. You can do it without weave once your hair stretched is about 5-7 inches long. For products, depending on how you wear your hair, I suggest using a leave-in conditioner after washing and every other day in between. Grease your scalp with African Pride Magical Gro. For extra shine and moisture, use Dark and Lovely's Healthy Shine. Hope this helped some.

THERE IS A PRODUCT OUT CALLED "REGROW". ITS GREAT. THEY HAVE SHAMPOO, HAIR LOTION, HAIR GREASE ETC. YOU SHOULD TRY THEIR PRODUCTS TO HELP YOUR HAIR GROW. DOUBLE STRAND TWISTS WONT STAY IN YOUR HAIR UNLESS ITS NATURAL OR UNLESS YOU GET KINKY TWITS (DOUBLE STRADNS WITH ADDED FAKE HAIR. IF YOU CANT FIND THE REGROW KIT, TRY USING LUSTERS PINK OIL. MAKE SURE ITS LUSTER THOUGH AND NOT MOTIONS.

be natural..black is beautiful

Natural hair?

In my experience, braids have helped my hair in terms of reducing breakage. Conditioning is the key in any case. I don't use braids anymore and have midback length hair. It is not 4b hair, but still curly. I relax mine and highlight it so its really prone to breaking. I recommend doing a VO5 hot oil treatment once or twice a month. I also use Pantene ProV Sleek and Smooth (the green and white bottles) to wash my hair. I also wash it only once....maybe twice a week so that I don't strip the moisture from it. Good luck!

There are tens of hundreds of ways they will tell you for your hair treatment. But you must ensure that the treatment itself doesnot produce any side effects.

Natural Hair??

Everytime I wear my hair natural, like loose, and out there. People always have something to say. Just because I'm black doesn't mean I have to get perms and have it straightened. But, my question is what should I say to those people who seem to have a problem with it??

Natural Hair??

Girl, I feel your pain!! I am natural and have a TWA! People always want to say something about it since I don't like relaxers. When people say you should get a relaxer say, "No because when you're bald at 60 from all your relaxers I'll still have nice, thick, beautiful hair!!" That'll shut them up!!!

Natural Hair??

at least my dair hasnt gone through a two-year drying cycle B!TCHES!

or if its a ghetto weave talking

no innocent roadkill had to suffer from my style b!TCHES

twas are DABOMB

Natural Hair??

yell at them and telll them to get a life cuz i do that to mi hair some times too

Natural Hair??

Their lives must be very dull if they're worried about how someone else has their hair! I would just let it go over my head. They're not worth it! Good luck.

Natural Hair??

dont pay attention to what they say their just jealous if they have a problem with me then dont talk to me that what you should say

Natural Hair??

"Is this on your head? NO so MIND your Business!"

Thats nice...you don't have to use ugly words to get ya point across. It just ugly whenever women curse so just be smart and quick.

Natural Hair??

at least my hair is beautiful and not fake like yours. i have natural hair and i am a beautiful black woman for doing my hair how God made it.

im not black, but i think black women who leave their hair natural from birth are beautiful :)

good luck

Natural Hair??

You shouldn't have to say anything to them at all, it's your hair do what you want =)

Natural Hair??

tell them to get a life. i bet you have gorgeous hair!! its sad that they are so bored with their own lives that they have to insult others to feel better. such losers....just ignore them.

Natural Hair??

A lot of it is just jealousy, they don't have the confidence to step outside of the box and wear their hair natural so its only natural that they criticize you for doing so.

You don't have to say a thing to them, its not their hair, they do not have to be happy with it, you do, and thats all that matters. STAY NATURAL!!!

Natural Hair??

Why do you have to say anything. I don't. I usually say I take excellent care of my hair and that's why it looks great.

Natural Hair??

It's sad that people have been conditioned to think that hair that is not straight needs to be fixed when it's their minds that need an upgrade.

I wear my hair natural too and sometimes I get looks and I just smile. I have received compliments but no negative comments. I'm sure there are people who think I should straighten my hair but, no ones said anything to me about it. Probably because I'm grown and I'm very confident. I also have a little bit of that " I wish a B$#@% would" in me.

Hold your natural head high and don't let the narrow minded ones get to you.
