What shampoo straightens natural hair?

ok my friend has natural hair and she doesn't want to straighten or perm so what should she do because she wants it straight.

What shampoo straightens natural hair?

If you can find a shampoo that can straighten your hair without chemicals, let me know so I can try it too.

This question is for those who know alot about african/natural kinky hair and the BIG CHOP da da dum

the big chop i when you want natural hair but you still have relaxed hair . you usally let your hair grow a couple of inches and THEN chop it off. sum people just chop it all of and start a fresh well my mom doesnt want me to do that she says your relaxed hair falls of bye its self??? beacuse the natural hair is so heavy well anybody kno if this is okay to do??? beacuse i dont wanna break my hair i rather be bald for a couple of weeks right now my natural hair is about 5 inches!! its half and half

This question is for those who know alot about african/natural kinky hair and the BIG CHOP da da dummmm?

Just chop it off. Its healthier and it looks great! I LOVED my short short short hair. It was so sexy looking believe it or not. I didnt think guys would hit on me but I actually got hit on quite a lot. My only issue came along when I had medium- ish hair. I hated that inbetween state so I got braids.

My roommate is going natural but keeping the relaxer in and I don't suggest it. Her hair is breaking and it looks strange. Even when she straightens it with a flat iron it eventually looks strange.

This question is for those who know alot about african/natural kinky hair and the BIG CHOP da da dummmm?

yes, your relaxed hair will fall off. Your hair will break off at the point where the different textures meet. It isn't advised to let this happen because it leaves you with damaged ends, and it might take a while for all of the relaxed hair to break off.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

My hair is naturally blonde.. its really light blonde, and i have pale skin. I dyed it brown about 4 months ago... it looks good, but with my pale skin and blue eyes, im not sure if it looks that good. I feel more confident with brown hair, because my blonde natural hair looks too blonde.. and people comment about it... Its hard cus i have to keep dying it all the time, as it starts to go ginger after a few weeks.. not sure what to do! help!! I am male.. and I have it (3-4" long), and usualy straighten it

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

If you have fair skin and blue eyes, change it back to it's original color. Anything darker will look obviously dyed. Sorry.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

Dye it back or get a tan.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

do what you like best!

i would go with brown.

its what you think, not others.

=)

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

dont die it something about blonde hair blue eyes is realy hot!!!

:]

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

dye it a darker shade of blonde. it will look the best

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

dark hair usually looks good with blue eyes. If your getting alot of comments about it obviously people like it. If it is just your roots that are growing out then you can get touch up hair dye at the store so you can touch up your roots between dying.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

All hair color fades, that's a fact. Since you sound like you are fair, brown may or may not look good depending on the shade. Dark brown probably makes you look pale so be careful that you don't go "too brown". The best advice I ever heard was never to go more than two shades away from your natural color.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

i would keep it blond. dying your hair over and over again will just ruin your hair because of all the chemicals in the dye. i have known people who do what you do and after awhile of dying their hair, their hair started to look like straw.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

with pale skin and blue eyes,i think blonde hair would be better.blonde hair shows off your blue eyes and it dosent make your pale skin look to pale.you choose.well i hope i helped.good luck!!!!!!!!

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

brownish blonde

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

keep it blonde, blue eyes and pale skin will definately look better with you natural color, not brown, plus dying your hair takes a lot of time and money and stuff lol

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

get a dark blond color or us a henna dye

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

try to cut it but natural bonde hair is sexii and mad cute!! just try trimming it to 1" trust me i wish by boy had blonde hair. keep it just trust, im a girl.

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

No matter what I think its best to stay your natural hair color, stay true to yourself, and stay pure.

Hair die can't be healthy for you all those chemicals seeping into your scalp. Your hair can閳ユ獩 like it to much either, since it fights against it. It also costs money, and time. It changes who you are because you change the way you see yourself and how you want others to see you which means you create a new reality over hair color.

Throw the conscious living blabber and practicality away and blonde hair and blue eyes is every girls dream, way would you take that away from us... or yourself you may be our last hope!

Should my hair be dyed brown or should it be natural blonde?

Keep it at natural blonde. Alot of people look better with their hair the color they were born with!! So keep it naturally blonde!! and it might still work ( i mean that it will still look good) if you straighten it!

Glad I could help! :)

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

I wave my long hair and I need a spray that will hold all day and look natural. Think sexy beach babe with tousled waves. I fear a sticky hard effect. The one I currently use -Garnier Fructis Style pure fix spray- promises a "natural feel, powerful hold" but doesnt deliver. My once sexy waves fall flat before the night even comes to an end. So I need it to outlast my wild party nights. Oh and if this helps-my natural hair texture is straight and thick.

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

i find that rave works well for my wavy hair! but it only costs like $6 at most stores!

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

i use dove hair spray for waves and curls

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

well spray won't last that long of coarse. When i do my hair curly or wavy right after a shower. when my hair fairly wet i put gel and scrunch it up. the i blow dry it. then i put mousse on it so it won't go flat or get ruined. then i straighten my bangs. you should try that and i think it won't go straight again unless you take a shower, or water is applied, or if there's lots of wind it will probably go frizzy. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR WAVY HAIRSTYLING.

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

John Freida Starsilk waves sold at walmart has sea salt and jojoba oil to make your hair look like it does after you are at the beach and its heat activated and about five to six dollars a bottle

http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/produ...

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

i like suave. its cheap and i like it better than anything we have in the salon. and im talking about the fifty dollar bottle ****. lol it keeps your hair natural looking, and its not sticky ove it ~melanie~

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

Shaper Plus hairspray is the only one I have ever liked with this type of hair and for the reasons you stated. You get it at salons so it's a bit more expensive but well worth it for the look you get - honestly. If you don't like it, return it back to the salon and they will let you try something else ( almost every salon I know will allow you to do this). You will love it!!!

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

White rain

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

jerry reddings have the best sprays i have ever seen but you can get them only at the salons.. a bottle costs from 15 - 20$ but lasts for abt 4months :)

What's the best hair spray to use for natural looking waves?

the best on that will probbally work is rave.

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

My natural hair colour is auburn and for the last couple of years I've been through every colour you can think of (you can imagine what my hair looked like when I bleached it blonde at home...) and at the moment my hair is black and my roots are coming through. I really want to go back to my natural colour. Should I just grit my teeth and shell out at a hairdressers or is there any way I could go back with home hair colour?

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

I would have it done professionally, don't try it at home

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

you can go to the hair dresses andhave your hair 'stripped' or just go and have it dyed as near to your hair colour as you possily can. either way will work good luck.

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

well you can redye it your natural color and then let it grow back so you cant see the roots and after a while you can cut off the colored part then u cant really tell it aint natural

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

go to your hair dresser. have them strip the black off. because if you try to dye it. it's not going to come out light enough. But Don't try it at home. I tried it. and my hair turend orange!!. Good luck! :)

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

Color it to the closest color you can of your natural color and wait for it to grow out.

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

Hi I've have many years of experience in this department, your

best beat is to go to the hairdresser they know best but if you cant

you'll need to strip all the color out with a hair dye remover make sure you get (the color your going to dye it to) them both together do it all in one shot so you don't

have to run out with orange hair don't freak its in the process to getting to your natural hair color. dye it and let it grow out auburn is

a great color.....good luck Linda

I want to go back to my natural hair colour!?

Yes. This kind of dye job should be done by professionals. It will require lifting of the black color and the applying of the auburn color that matches you natrual color.

Which should I use to enhance my natural hair brunette color: Pantene Expressions or John Frieda?

My hair is very dull, it has no life. Since I have been exposed lately to sun, it has been damaging my hair. My natural hair color is fading. I have never highlighted nor colored my hair. Which shampoo would you recommend me: Pantene Pro-V Brunette expressions or John Frieda Brunette? Has it worked for you?? I would appreciate your answers.

Which should I use to enhance my natural hair brunette color: Pantene Expressions or John Frieda?

I never use Pantene. It leaves a nasty waxy residue on the hair. Go with the Fieda.

Which should I use to enhance my natural hair brunette color: Pantene Expressions or John Frieda?

Pantene Pro-V Brunette expressions for sure because John Frieda Brunette makes some peoples hair fall out. It happened to my cousin.

Which should I use to enhance my natural hair brunette color: Pantene Expressions or John Frieda?

I use pantene and think it works great.

Which should I use to enhance my natural hair brunette color: Pantene Expressions or John Frieda?

Neither one is good for your hair. Both deposit color minerals in your hair and damage it further. If you are looking to boost shine, use a hydrating shampoo/conditioner and deep condition once a weekend. Its possible that the sun is simply drying out your hair as opposed to your hair color fading.

Which should I use to enhance my natural hair brunette color: Pantene Expressions or John Frieda?

I wouldent go with either of those. I used Biolage, and they have it for a ton of different hair types. I have it for color treated hair, but you could get the kind for dry hair or the voumizing kind. Biolage is really good for your hair, and it smells really good!!

Black women, how do I style my natural hair with straw curls?

I have very long, very thick natural hair. Normally, I style my hair in braids, but I decided to let my hair breathe for a while. I didn't want to wear my regular afro, so I would appreciate any tips on styling my hair this way. I know that I need straws, but what else do I need? How long can it typically take to style? If you could provide a link with how-to instructions, that'd be great. Thanks!

Black women, how do I style my natural hair with straw curls?

Straw Set Black Hairstyle

Wearing a straw set black hairstyle is a great way to eliminate the need to work on your hair daily and while it is going out to natural again. To acheive a natural black (Afro) hairstyle, you'll need: several plastic drinking straws or small perm hairstyling rods that are slightly larger for looser curls; setting lotion; and hair end tissue papers. (See instructions on product packaging for proper use of each item.)

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Start by shampooing and conditioning your hair and then saturate it with a high quality hair setting lotion.

Step 2: Part you hair into 1/4 to 1/2 inch sections and place end papers on the ends of your hair.

Step 3: Roll your hair onto each straw and then secure them using hair pins.

Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 until you have completed your entire head.

Step 5: Dry your hair under a hair dryer.

Step 6: Remove the straws and separate each curl using your fingers. For this hairstyle, only finger combing your hair is necessary, however, to insure your hair does not become dry, spray it with som oil sheen styling conditioner.

Black women, how do I style my natural hair with straw curls?

I agree with above. Just don't forget to curl your hair down the straw. Not just wrapping all of your hair around the straw...it will never dry like that.

African American Natural Hair Care?

Does anyone in the Dallas metroplex know of a natural hair care salon. I'm not looking to wear micro braids or weave. I would like to find a professional stylist that can take me through the transitioning period.

thank you

African American Natural Hair Care?

i dont know of any places

i stopped getting relaxers in 7th grade and i didnt have no help me transisition to natural, it can be hard because your hair can start to break where the natural hair and relaxed hair meets, keep getting your ends trimmed or you can just go for the big chop off!!!

what i did was use a product called stay soft fro, on the bottle it looks like sta.sof.fro or somethinf like the kind that is for extra dry hair comes in a brown bottle. it can be a lil drippy, but it is great for natural hair, my hair was so soft, people assumed my hair was dry because it was natural, my hair felt like cotton, it is a very good leave in conditioner, and it made the relaxed parts of my hair look less straight, so it blended in a lil more

having natural hair says so many things about us black women, people see us as being bold and having courage because we actually decided to have the guts to go "nappy" as they would say lol i hate that word. but until you get all your permed hair cut out u might wanna try maybe flat ironing your hair if u want. i flat iron my hair since i dont get relaxers, if u wanna know of a good flat iron email me, the website is folica.com u can look at all kinds of flat irons and they had this thing where it says top 10b best flat irons, the #1 was a 1 1/2 inch sedu it had the best ratings and everything, im gonna put a pic on there like everyone else, but it costs about 125, it works the best i have tried so many i mean my hair even moves like a white girls lol, that is how straight i get it.

but good luck goin natural email me if u like!!!!!

I have natural hair but I am afraid to loc'. HELP! Why am I so afraid??

I have been natural for about 6 years and the sad thing is that I always wear my hair in twists or twist extensions (which are like locs) But I guess the word LOCS is saying that I am LOCKED into that one style. :-(

I have natural hair but I am afraid to loc'. HELP! Why am I so afraid??

We as women are rightfully careful about our hair. The process of "Loc"ing one's hair is a big step because "Loc"ed hair can't be undone after a while. If you are enjoying the versatility of being able to wear it straight (press-n-comb), twist it when you want, and extend it when you want, hold out on something so committed as "Loc"ing the hair. I love the way our beautiful people look in locs. (men especially "WOW") I have friends who love their locs and they can curl, twist, and bun them into wonderful styles. I am also thinking of making that change from chemical processed to natural. Good luck

I have natural hair but I am afraid to loc'. HELP! Why am I so afraid??

if you are afraid then i say don't do it...stick with the kinky twist.....

I have natural hair but I am afraid to loc'. HELP! Why am I so afraid??

I have natural hair, I wanted locs as well, but for me it was too much of a commitment. Locs are cool and very versatile, also with locs your hair grows faster. Then if you get tired of them you can always cut em off and start all over again. Sister locs look really cool too, they are smaller than average sized locs...

I have natural hair but I am afraid to loc'. HELP! Why am I so afraid??

You're afraid because you'll have to chop it all off when they lock and you get tired of them.

I have natural hair but I am afraid to loc'. HELP! Why am I so afraid??

Maybe because you don't really want them. I'm very versatile with my hair too and I hate to have just one style. So I wouldn't even consider getting locs.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

And no, I'm not being racist, just asking a question based on my observations.

White girls generally go natural with their hair. Sure, they'll dye it different colors or give it a slight curl or slight straighten once in a while, but they rarely dramarically change it to being like black girls natural hair. Where as black girls usually do dramatically change theirs and straighten it like white girls hair instead of going natural. Sure, some go natural, but most don't.

Why?

Please, if you decide to answer this question with a question, still explain what I asked above. Thankyou.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

Because it is more easy to manage and because no offense to anyone but some "whites" are more comfortable with blacks who have straight hair as opposed to course dreaded hair. I do believe that it is a sub conscious bias...but unfortunately we live in a country that is control by others and not by all so often you have to summit to others standards in order to be successful. I'm sure someone will say I'm racist but I dont expect you to understand because I live in my black skin everyday along with my "nappy" hair :) so I know what's going on. I hope that I enlightened you

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

black people please dont answer this

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

Because they can.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

I actually haven't noticed that, but if it's true, i think black girls' hair are more unruly and harder to control then white girls' hair. maybe that's why black girls do more stuff with their hair then white girls.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

Ok, I see what you mean. BUT, why do white girls tan? Are they trying to be hispanic or black? Why don't they go natural and leave their skin color alone? I think they do it because straight hair is easier to tame. Besides, straight hair looks nicer. NOW, why do white girls tan?(I think you should post this question too huh?)

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

Black girls straighten their hair because it's easier to manage. I personally like my hair natural. I was lucky enough to be born with very beautiful curly hair that isn't too tightly curled or thick. I know a whole lot of white girls who straighten their hair. Dyeing your hair is not being natural. Chemicals are used when you dye your hair, so white girls are doing exactly the same thing as black. Women in general try to change their looks.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

i agree with pamela.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

First off, i want to know what u mean by "natural"? Is there a certain way a black person's hair has to be? Cuz my hair is straight and natural and im black! And yes i was born with my hair like that. But to answer your question, straight hair is easier to manage

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

It's fashion that's all.

Ignoring race, let's look to pop culture -- remember the Brady Bunch when they all got a perm? The guys looked hilarious! Sigh, I guess it was hip at the time.

Fashion will never be understood by a social observer.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

its not a racist question so i don't see why i shouldn't answer it (black girl here)

black women have too much volume and its hard to manage our hair, its thicker than the average white girls hair and more wiry. white women with thin hair use something to add volume but we have to straighten to get rid of some of the volume (no shampoo for us)

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

Many white girls get spiral perms and body waves.

I live in Houston and many of the white girls here DO NOT GO NATURAL!

Those with curly hair, flat iron it. Those with straight hair, curl it or get curly perms.

However, I'm sure more white girls than blacks girls go natural, but if your hair was very thick, very curly, and hard to manage with you struggle with it daily, or go get a relaxer to make it more easy to manage?

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

because their hair is absolutely disgusting and they know it. they get offended when white people flip their hair up and stuff because their nappy hair wont do it. if you ever saw a black girl with nice hair, it's a good wig, hair extensions, or otherwise completely unnatural.

Why do black girls straighten their hair, while white girls go natural?

Because if they let their hair go normal it'd look like a big rats nest.

Does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

Does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

No, thats why we use shampoo/soap. The oil "sticks" to the shampoo, it repels water. washing will cause some of the oil to drain off but if you only use water your hair will steal be "greasy". Your diet doesnt change that either, everyone has hair oils its natural, its there for a reason, to protect us from bacteria and parasites, and there is no way to get rid of it except how we always do it by washing.

Does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

No, who told you that? The only thing that will get rid of hair oils is your diet.

Does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

No, you will need to shampoo ti get rid of hair oils.

Does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

no, water and oil don't mix

Does soaking hair with water get rid of natural hair oils?

no

you have to scrub it with soap

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

I dyed my hair brown and now I never want to dye it again! I want my natural hair colour back (black)! What should I do? Should I let it grow or dye it? If i let it grow, will it fade slowly or will it seem like my hair is half black or brown, I DONT WANT THAT! Help!

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

I had a similar situation recently. My hairdresser made my hair far too light. I wanted my natural dark blonde with some highlights. Eventually, my hair was two tone and looked terrible.

I found a hair dye very close to my own natural color. Now line between my natural hair and the "color restored" portion is gone.

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

You'll never get your old hair color back until you grow it out.

You can dye it near your color and let it grow out so it won't be half brown, half black.

Or you can try something on this site:

http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Remove-...

Good Luck.

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

it will fade out. give it about a month or so

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

Try using a color remover like Color Oops!, or go to a salon to see if they have a color remover without hydrogen peroxide- thats the key! , or you can go to Sally's and ask them for help, ask them for a color remover w/o hydrogen peroxide. . . remove the color you put on and see how it comes out, if you like it keep it, if not, redye it black or dark brown - which will come out black, and just let it grow out.

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

Well, this depends on how strong your dye is, some of them fades fast and some of them are rather stubborn and seems to stay. My suggestion would be to grow it out and then when it's half brown, half black, die the ends black. The same thing happened to me, but then again, we probably used different dye brands...if this still doesn't work, i suggest you should prepare and dye it another color if you truly don't want your hair brown. I hope you get your natural coloration of hair back ;D

My hair is brown and I want my natural black back?

If you let it grow out you will just have black roots and brown ends. You need to have it colored back to black with a semi-permanent color! NOT PERMANENT because it being semi- will fade a little after a while, but will never wash out back to brown...it fades just enough so that when your natural black comes back in the transition is softer and you won't have a big line of demarcation.

Why does your natural hair colour darken after colouring?

I am a natural very light blonde. But I've coloured my hair red a few years ago with non-permanent, wash-out colouring, and it has washed out about 2 years ago. I've also added some blonde highlights, done professionally.

But now, where my hair grows out, it's darker than it ever was, it's almost brown. Why does this happen?

Why does your natural hair colour darken after colouring?

Hair changes in many ways as we grow older. This is especially apparent in woman %26amp; our hormonal changes, From puberity to pregnancy to menopause %26amp; everything in between. Its quite normal for the hair to darken naturally as we get older. Blondes go to brunette, red heads go more dark auburn. It also may look darker than normal next to your highlights.

Why does your natural hair colour darken after colouring?

Sunlight makes your hair lighter, because you have had your hair died and your natural colour hasn't seen light it makes it a lot darker.

Organic or All-Natural hair dye?

What are the positives, negatives to it? I know they're not ALL natural, but that's the best way for me to describe them on here. I really dislike chemicals, and every time I dye my hair I feel gross for using all those chemicals on my head. I'm keeping my hair a dark brown color.

Organic or All-Natural hair dye?

I'm not sure about any brands, but I definitely know that they use henna as a hair dye for dark colors of course. I don't know exactly how but the colors range from black to reddish-brown. I'm not sure of a brand, but google it and i'm sure you'll find something if this piques your interest!

Organic or All-Natural hair dye?

a great product would be punky colour...try it at folica.com

AWESOME

Can you recommend a good setting lotion for natural black hair?

My hair is chemical free. When I style it the style only lasts about 6 hours on a good day unless I'm wearing braids, twists, an updo or an afro. I'd like to wear my wavy and curly styles longer so I need a setting creme or lotion to help. Anyone with natural hair or natural curly or natural kinky hair know of a good product I can use for this kind of style? I can get it STRAIGHT then wave it but you know...that style's flopped and frizzed before the end of the party! Help!

Can you recommend a good setting lotion for natural black hair?

I have recently discovered (organic root stimulator) Anti-frizz Olive oil Glossing Polisher. So far so good and staying that way. It is a clear liquid in a transparent container, quite light and not greasy. Hope it works for you. An afro is not easy to keep tidy especially in cold weather. I hear you... I am really thinking of going bald!

run out of the party as fast as you can,if not, then you will be insulted.attend short parties.

Wear a blonde wig

then maybe your name should be flopped and frizzed instead of sleek?

Try LottaBody Setting Lotion my curls for a few days without re-applying the setting lotion, but I also roll up my hair nightly.

Organic or All Natural hair dye?

What are the positives, negatives to it? I know they're not ALL natural, but that's the best way for me to describe them on here. I really dislike chemicals, and every time I dye my hair I feel gross for using all those chemicals on my head. I'm keeping my hair a dark brown color.

Also, any suggestions for the best brand?

Organic or All Natural hair dye?

Some of the brands that are noteworthy are:

Ecocolors - While it does contain small amounts of ammonia and peroxide these amounts are minimum compared to other brands. This brand contains soy, flax, and rosemary extract all of which work to condition the hair, and scent it without the scent of harsh chemicals.

Herbatint - One of the few brands that is ammonia free, and also permanent. At the same time it does use p-Phenylenediamine and peroxide in it's mixture, but the amounts are low compared to other brands. The great thing about this one is that it's biodegradable.

Naturcolor and Vegetel are great brands if you do not want long term color treatment. Unfortunately they only last a few washings each.

One of the best brands is Rainbow Henna. Their products are 100% organic and they make just about every color that you can imagine. The packaging and set up is non traditional compared to what you might be used to from regular hair dye kits.

If you are looking for the best organic kit, then go with Light Mountain henna kit, it will remind you of the home dying kits, but is much better for you to use.

Another good brand is Tocco Magico but you may only be able to find that at salon stores.

Most of these can be purchased at health food stores and drug stores.

Organic or All Natural hair dye?

Organic is more earth friendly. Organic means that the ingredients were made or grown without the use of synthetic pestisides, fertilizer, ect.

Organic or All Natural hair dye?

Why dye at all?

Organic or All Natural hair dye?

Organic:

I am going to explain to you the very flip side of organic:

The more people that buy organic - the more we stand to devastate the earth. Thats right. Organic only works now because it depends directly and indirectly on inputs from conventional farming (more on that).

Every piece of fertile soil has a limited "store" of nutrients (in some cases they are re-generated but at a much slower rate than they can be removed form harvesting). Each organic food harvest depletes this store of nutrients. Even if the farmer ploughs back in the remains - there is still a net loss. The current practice is to replace this estimated loss of nutrients with manure - from conventional farms.

This means one of two things: Seeing as it's manure, the nutrient quantities are unknown by the organic farmer so when he applies the manure he may either over apply or underapply the manure.

If he under applies - then the harvest will go down and the soil has been depleted further. If he over applies then soluble nutrients such as nitrate get washed out and end up in rivers or lakes causing eutrophication.

The current system works because organic farms are in the minority and rely on inputs form the much more efficient conventional farms - organic farms can get away with not using pesticides at the moment because tehy are basically islands surrounded by pesticide using farms. If everything went organic - trust me that wouldn't be the case.

To summarise: Organic farming would work in a world where all outputs were returned to the soil in which they were grown - i.e if all the excrement from a harvest was returned to the field it came from. Seeing as however excrement ends up in a centralised sewer the output are still being replaced by inputs from conventional farms.

Finally - lets all think about it: civilisation has been using organic food for centuries, (in those days there was no centralised sewer so inputs were returned close to the area they were harvested). However after the incredible population explosion over the last century, these methods just couldn't keep up anymore - conventional farming was born, and it manages to feed the world, yes there were problems to begin with but now there are very strict controls over pesticide and fertliser use.

The bottom line: Use any non-organic hair dye, save yourself money and help keep the planet in one piece!

I have thick natural hair (no relaxer) and I'm wondering if the Chi iron will get my hair compl

My hair is natural (I have no relaxer) and it is really thick...

I have thick natural hair (no relaxer) and I'm wondering if the Chi iron will get my hair completely straight.

Best results for virgin african american hair, it helps to part your hair in sections and blow it out with a comb attachment before you attempt to straighten it with the Chi iron.

I have thick natural hair (no relaxer) and I'm wondering if the Chi iron will get my hair completely straight.

Me too! And yes it definitly works. Nothing else but Chi. Trust me.

I dyed my hair black yesterday. Anyone know ways to get it back to your natural hair color?

Or somewhere close to it? Before black, I dyed my hair auburn red. My natural hair color is light brown. On a whim yesterday, I dyed my hair black--like JET BLACK.

Now I am on a quest to get it back to my natural hair color and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a way I can accomplish that without killing my hair.

I dyed my hair black yesterday. Anyone know ways to get it back to your natural hair color?

there are hair color removals, that you can do. go to a salon, so that nothing goes wrong!

I dyed my hair black yesterday. Anyone know ways to get it back to your natural hair color?

find your natural hair color mix and then it will change back to ur natual color.

I dyed my hair black yesterday. Anyone know ways to get it back to your natural hair color?

Try to find a picture of a person with the exact same color, or another one you like, and show it to someone and get a picture. You can also (I know this sounds ridiculous) go to a place where they sell paints and browse around in the brown section. Show a color u like to ur stylist and well.. dye the hair!

I dyed my hair black yesterday. Anyone know ways to get it back to your natural hair color?

Black is the hardest color to get out of hair when I dyed my hair black I tried dying over it brown and it didn't work than I went to a salon and they had to strip my hair so I suggest you go to a salon because thats the only way your going to be able to get the black out

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

I'm a single Black female, been told that I have a nice shape, not ugly (but not on myself either so I guess fairly attractive), not a pushover, not mean, actally very nice. Anyway, my male friend says I can't seem to find a man because I wear my hair natural (think afro, twists, braids). I do keep it up, it's not dry and hard, it's actually baby soft. But it's also not curly or wavy, not what others would call, I cringe as I type this... "Good Hair" (That is a statement of ignorance). My hair is not a statement or anything I'm making, just got tired of the every 6 week routine of getting my scalp burned.

So...men...would you or would you not approach a woman with natural hair? Ladies, what's your experience?

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

I'm not a lady but i would like to answer if you dont mind. Im tired of turning around and all I see is fake hair. Weave is not attractive to me. A woman with her own hair is a confident woman these days. It shows that you know what you have and you know how to work it. Weave is just a sign of vulnerability to me. It is pretty on some girls in some occassions, but id rather see a woman let HER hair down at the end of the day. I like running my hands through my girlfriends' hair without worrying about a track falling out!!!

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

natural hair is best

Is it true that men don't like natural hair?

no .. that\'s not true .. I love natural on a woman

I guess it depends on the hair. I know loads of girls who wear their hair natural... but I must say, poofy is kinda weird...

How to stimulate natural hair oil?

Is there any ways to stimulate the hair natural oil? Does enhancing blood circulation helps?

My scalp is extremely dry and is causing dandruff problems. My hair don't even get oily after 4 days without washing; I only get more drandruff and itchy.

How to stimulate natural hair oil?

Warm 2oz of olive oil, add 5 drops of lavendar oil and 5 drops of orange oil (if you can't find orange oil a little orange zest will work but you need to let the mixture rest for about 5 minutes before using then)shake together in a tint applicator bottle (about 2 bucks). Using a natural boar bristle brush, throughly brush scalp in an upward motion for about 5 minutes (you don't need to brush your scalp hard, just enough to feel it and get the blood circulating to the area more) then apply the oil just to the scalp using the the applicator, then massage the oils into your scalp for about 5 to 10 minutes. Let oils remain on scalp for another 10 minutes. Apply shampoo to scalp before wetting hair, then wet and workk shampoo into a lather (it will not lather much due to the oil) rinse and shampoo hair again then condition. Doing this once or twice a month should make a big difference in your scalp's condition.

How to stimulate natural hair oil?

You will have to add oil to your hair.

How to stimulate natural hair oil?

I read that on the internet once that massaging the root downwards (with your hands)helps realise oils from the the scalp

How to stimulate natural hair oil?

To stimulate your natural oils you can use your finger tips and massage your scalp in a circular motion. You can also use a hair brush to massage your scalp.

* You can also use pure peppermint oil mixed w/ equal part olive oil to increse the circulation to your scalp.Just massage the oil into your scalp and then brush your hair, its feels sooo good!

How to stimulate natural hair oil?

people use to brush their hair 100 x a day.

this stimulates the oil and is carried thru the strands during the brushing.

How to remove color to get back to natural hair color?

My hair is naturally drab gray. I just started coloring my hair at home over the last 9 months (after having it professionally done for the last 20 years). I want the end result of my hair color to be golden brown. I do not touch up roots in between hair coloring. I do an overall color. Each time I colored my hair, I chose a color that wasn't quite light enough. I'm ready for another coloring. My roots are drab gray, the rest of my hair looks like one solid light brown color. Since I have been using different shades of golden brown each time I color, should I use a hair color remover first to get back to my natural color and then do an overall color of a very light golden brown/blonde? Or just color my hair with the very light golden brown. I do not have different colors in my hair now, but mentally I feel like I do because of the 4 different times I've colored with a different color. Help!!!

How to remove color to get back to natural hair color?

yes..If youre going from darker to lighter with about 4 different colors youll definately want to remove the color. They sell a product...its a powder and you mix it with a 20 volume liquid..you can buy the powder and possibly 20 vol at Walmart...The particular powder Im thinking of is called Un-color, but the other brands work just as well...its in a packet usually on the bottom shelf. Be careful using a lot of anything on the hair or it will become "mushy" and break off, especially if heat is applied. Good luck! *I have been a professional hairdresser for 16 years*

How to remove color to get back to natural hair color?

Coloring your hair changes the hair structure so using a hair color remover will NOT return your hair to its natural color. I don't understand why you aren't just touching up your roots as needed??? In any case, to lighten your hair you need to get highlights and use bleach-just using another lighter box of color will not lighten it over the existing color. In any case, you should see your stylist. Ask her the color she uses (like 7GB, 6RB) and use a box color for your roots in between salon visits.

How to remove color to get back to natural hair color?

When you use a "hair color remover" you remove all the color - even the natural color is gone. If no color was added, you would have a white hair. Do note that coloring too soon will give you a green shade.

Knowing that and knowing the last color you had, just move up 2 shades.

I want my natural hair color back?

I have naturally dark brown hair and I've dyed it burgandy. Now it has faded into a ugly ugly orange. Whats the best way to make the color go away leaving my natural hair?

I want my natural hair color back?

That is an easy fix. go to the beauty supply, buy a color remover, NOT bleach. follow the directions on the box, only apply to the red/colored area, and only leave it on until you see most of the red fading away.....

Then choose a color from the beauty supply.....NOT the drug store....... choose it 1 shade lighter than you really want (it will process darker because of the damage in your hair) I would recommend a semi permenant, it is so much more gentle on your hair, and you can apply more often and keep it fresh and healthy looking, without the damage, I color mine with a semi permenant every 4-6 weeks and it is super shiny and really healthy.

If you decide to us ea permenant color, you should not do it more than every 12 weeks or so, and in that time it can and will fade and look bad.

I want my natural hair color back?

dye it black

I want my natural hair color back?

the best way is just to let it grow back.i kno it might look the best for a while but its the best way to grow it out healthily.

I want my natural hair color back?

there are some products u buy to make ur hair darker or to return it to the regular color. so if you go 2 the pharmacy or something, you'll find it there cuz thats what i did when i didnt like the highlights they put in my hair. it

I want my natural hair color back?

try to die it back but here's what you should do if your natural hair is

black:get the darkest color of black you can

blonde:get the brightest blonde

brown:(depends on if your hair is bright or dark now)bright-get a dark shade of brown bright-get a bright color

red:get the dark red

I want my natural hair color back?

Go to a hairdresser and have it dyed back to dark brown, they know what they're doing a lot better than a lay man,

I want my natural hair color back?

TIME

I want my natural hair color back?

i am almost done being in your position....go to the salon and have them lightly strip the coppery color out and die it a brown VERY CLOSE TO YOUR NATURAL COLOR....go to color specialist...then let it grow .....the dyed part, that used to be Burgundy..that is now copper..that will be brown...will fade, but it wont look as bad as the coppery orange....you will still have 2 toned hair, but not as extreme....mine is almost all the way done growing out and it was soo worth it....just be patient....REALLY PATIENT....... good luck.........

I want my natural hair color back?

Baby shampoo. No, seriously. The ph of baby shampoo reacts differently to colored adult hair than baby's hair. I was sick of my color and washed it with baby shampoo twice in the shower for a couple days. My hair was right back to it's regular color.

I want my natural hair color back?

It wont just go away, but what you can do is dye it as close as possible to your natural color then you can let it grow out.

I want my natural hair color back?

If you can afford it, go to a professional stylist who can restore the color in your hair. Then let it grow out and when it's long enough, cut off the dyed hair. Or you can gradually trim the dyed growth off with regular haircuts.

I wouldn't try dyeing it myself again, it may fall out!

I want my natural hair color back?

go to a hair salon and get the color stripped out of your hair, or cut it and grow it out.

I want my natural hair color back?

I have a few questions first? In order to get any orange from burgandy fade you would have had to lighten be for the new tone is introduced. Was that the process ? If so you would need a new tone of ash or neutral. Dark to dark medium brown will bring you closer to your natural color. If you used lighter level of the same two tones they will place you in the dark medium to med dark brown. P.S. only used a glaze or semi color for this process. note :Copper will warm it up %26amp; you don't wont that.

Will tide damage natural hair color any?

i have gotten recomendations for my girlfriend to wash her hair with tide to remove some temporary hair color that she cant get out her natural color is dirty blond and she tried a red type temporary color to see if she liked and now she is freaking out because she cant get it out.

Will tide damage natural hair color any?

If it is temporary it should come out after a few washes. But when I get my hair too dark I use a lemon juice and baking soda mixture and let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes. Then shampoo it out.

Will tide damage natural hair color any?

First of all no one should put tide in there hair! If she had permanent hair color in her hair she should use Clairol Hair bleach then dye her hair a darker color. Or she could grow the color out.

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

I've had a relaxer since I was about 6 or 7 and I'm tired of getting touch ups after touch ups. Relaxer's make my hair extra thin with no body and always breaking off sometimes. So I'm think of stopping, I want to grow my hair natural and grow out the relaxer that I have in my hair. I know I have a lot of relaxer since my hair is past my shoulders, and I have a little bit of growth coming up in my roots. When I go the Dominicans and they blow dry my roots, my hair comes out extra silky and as if I had a relaxer. Last year alone I only relaxed my hair twice. What should I do, should I get over it and leave the relaxer in or should I try being natural even though its a long process?

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

I say it depends on your lifestyle. Do you have time to spend for that long process? I don't know about the thinning part but whether its permed or natural it never hurts to use deep conditioners, they really work. Iam in letting the perm grow out of my hair too and I used to have really dry hair that always was in the comb but since I use deep conditioners every wash, the hair stays on my head now.

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

go natural if it doesnt work you can always get a relaxer

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

straightening iron

that's the only thing that has EVER worked for me

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

Try to have your natural hair back you are dying for it! it wont hurt!

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

My mother is Black Dutch (Melungeon,a Southeastern ethnic group that is a mix of 3 races) and although she's as white skinned and blonde haired as they come, she has the same problem with her hair being very kinky and very coarse. She blow-dries hers from the roots downward, and it straightens out beautifully. I did notice she uses a conditioning spray when she does that, so maybe that's the key. She also uses the largest size pick she can find when she does this, so that's another good hint.

As for me, mine is naturally straight, but also thick and medium to coarse (I'm mostly Native American). I had some problems with breakage after bleaching my hair--apparently ours becomes fragile very easily if we do things like that to it. Now, if I don't put sheen spray on it, it looks like a hedgehog is sitting on my head :(

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

it is really up to you..

on 1 hand....relaxers damage the hair significantly by breaking the bonds that give each strand its shape....so going natural is much better for the health of your hair

on the other hand...since you have been wearing a straight style so such a long time....going completely natural, style-wise might be a little bit difficult.....

also, when going completly natural (if u have "kinky" hair) its is usually better if you cut the relaxed parts of the hair...i know most ppl dont want to let go of the length... but what happens is that with the hair being two completly different textures on the same strand kinda encourages even more breakage!!!

bear in mind that relaxing is technically bad for the hair but so is blowdrying or flat ironing straight all the time...if thats how u plan on wearing it

its all up to u

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

I can relate.. my hair is naturally curly, and as a young girl, I too started relaxing my hair. I used to get it done at a shop, and it damaged my hair completely. My beautiful thick hair started to get thinner and thinner, and started breaking off, and by the time I got to high school, the hair underneath was totally uneven, I had to get it chopped off to my shoulders! :( But eventually it all grew back.

I started going to the hair salon (they were domincans) And they would wash and set my hair (wash it, put it in rollers, sit you under the dryer, then blow it out). Relaxer or no relaxer, it still comes out silky smooth. I liked it soo much, I went out and bought my own rollers, and dryer, so that I could do it myself.

So yeah, my opinion is that you should continue going to the salon and have them wash and set your hair. Relaxing it too much is causing your hair to break off, and it's not healthy for your hair. You're better off growing your hair out nautually, and if your roots are showing, just blow them out, or put a flat iron to them. BUT, if you are in dire need of a relaxer, I suggest you just relax your roots, and not your whole head, to avoid from overprocessing and damaging your ends, which can break them off. Just don't do it often.

Go natural!

Also, (some people may fing this as being dirty, but it's actually very healthy for your hair) try not to wash your hair often, about once a week is good.

Good luck in making your choice!

This question is for people with ethnic hair with relaxed or natural hair?

...I was once in the same position, and I haven't had a relaxer in over 5 years now...if you take care of your hair, it will survive...deep condition it well...I didn't cut it nor did it fall out, in fact it grows so well now, it's past the middle of my back...I just took care of it, making sure to use heat protection products when straightening it and quality hair products on a regular basis that are targeted toward my hair type...use moisture products and deep condition alot...take your time with your hair, when combing use a wide tooth comb and take small sections...Don't try to do what's in now b/c that's why alot of females hair don't grow too long and/or fall out b/c they are doing too much to it...if you can manage your hair w/o the relaxer then don't get one...I have had about 5-7 in my life and only got them b/c I was too lazy to deal with my curly, wavy, thick and tangleprone hair...if you want it straight, go back to the place that did it the way you like...be carefull with coloring it too...watch how much better it looks and healthier it'll be, just be patient...

I straighten my hair every day, how can I get my natural hair back?

I'm 15, and as most teenagers do, I flat-iron my hair every morning, until it's straight to perfection. Unfortunately, because of my straightening frenzy, my hair now dries semi-frizzy. I'm used to it being so straight, that I have to straighten it so that my hair will look nice in my standards. Lately, I've wanted to be able to just do something fast and easy, with my hair living up to my standards, but because of the frizz, I'm left with having to straighten it all the time. Does anybody have any suggestions to how I can get my hair looking nice and natural without all the straightening?

I straighten my hair every day, how can I get my natural hair back?

STOP STRAIGHTENING!! It's obviously damaging your hair. You don't have to lower your standards to accept your hair; just change them. Let your hair dry naturally most of the time, with some anti-friz cream or something smoothed over 'trouble' spots. Then like once a week or so, straighten your hair. that way, your hair can 'heal' and not be so frizzy, and when you do straighten your hair it is special.

olive oil works great for restoring shine and moisture. work it into your hair, leave it on for at least an hour, then shampoo out. it will take like four shampoos. finish with a deep conditioner.

really, your hair will look beautiful un-straightened. dried out, frizzy, 'perfect' hair isn't as pretty as natural, healthy, bouncy, wavy/curly hair. please, for the sake of your hair, try not straightening.

ps. think of all the time you'll have in the mornings when u don't have to straighten- you could watch tv, read, do ur nails, sleep in...yum!

Try using a frizz eaze or a type of oil that will control frizz. Then let is dry naturally.

I straighten my hair every day, how can I get my natural hair back?

i have the same exact problem, but i found that Herbal Essences "non-of- you frizzness" anti frizz cream is great. I follow that by using Herbal Essences Pin Straight straightening mousse. also i use Panteene Pro-V ice shine and i leave the ice shine conditioner in my wet hair for about 15 mins then rinse. it doesnt eliminate ALL of the frizz but it works pretty well and for the days i do straighten it it feels extra soft and its easier to straighten.

I hope i helped:)

I straighten my hair every day, how can I get my natural hair back?

I WAS A HAIRDRESSER FOR 27 YEARS SO I FOUND THIS REALLY WORKS ON CURLY HAIR THAT WANTS TO FRIZZ U KNOW THE HAIR OINTMENT CALLED VO5 AFTER U DRY AND STYLE YOUR HAIR RUB SOME IN YOUR HANDS THEN ON YOUR HAIR IN THE FRIZZY AREAS AND IT WILL REALLY WILLCALM IT DOWN ASK MY TWO CURLY HAIRED SISTERS THEY WILL TELL U THAT IT WORKS!!!

I straighten my hair every day, how can I get my natural hair back?

i had the same problem, try letting your hair dry naturally but whenit is stil wet add ligth mousse an dleave in conditioner. The less oyu straighten it the more it will come back. Try putting plain yogurt in your hair for 1/2 an hour for it to be smooth and less frizzy. I Swear by this technique. OIr try finding cute hairdos with curly hair like simple twists or updos.

What are some really good all-natural hair products for African Americans?

I've been reading on hair and I found out that there's a lot of ingredients in shampoos and conditioners that strip our hair dry instead of moisturizing it. So I'm switching to all natural, I heard that beauty 4 ashes has some really good products for ethnic hair. And a lot of greases have mineral oil and petrolatum in it which does nothing but clog the hair. Does anybody use any good ones, and how does it make your hair feel? Thanks!

What are some really good all-natural hair products for African Americans?

You should try this all natural hair line called Organic root stimulator.I use and love all of there products and there all are great for African American hair .

Olive oil and other natural hair and beauty advice?

I have had problem hair due to overprocessing and heat styling, I cut about 2 inches off of it and now take take really good care of it, I read about using olive oil, I tried it last night and it worked amazing I shampooed in the morning and all day people have been saying my hair looks thicker and its soft and shiny, this worked better than those expensive treatments, any other natural hair and beauty advice? I loved the olive oil can I use it on my skin?

Olive oil and other natural hair and beauty advice?

Ofcourse, it's also great for the skin specially if you mix Olive Oil and Sugar and make a Body Scrub out of it. Did you already try Olive Oil and Heavy Conditioner? that works great for hair as well.

Olive oil and other natural hair and beauty advice?

Yoghurt, olive oil, egg yolk, and conditioner. You could also try olive oil, mayonnaise and conditioner.

Olive oil and other natural hair and beauty advice?

I know of something better. It's called "bag softener". You will find it at Buckerfields or some other store that deals with livestock.

It is identical to those expensive cremes except there is no perfume.

Like the name says, it is for softening "the milk bag" of cows and goats.

Sounds groady. Works wonders. Save millions as you can afford to slather it on daily.

Olive oil and other natural hair and beauty advice?

Olive oil is great for the whole body, I'm not sure how you applied it to your hair, but try it as a hot oil treatment, warm it up in the microwave and apply it to your hair and cover with a plastic shower cap,let it sit for about 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water, or wash with a light shampoo

Olive oil and other natural hair and beauty advice?

3 months ago someone told me to use extra virgin olive oil and beer...i made it into a lil spray bottle half oil, half beer.....i had thin hair and woowww what a difference my hair is soo much thicker and healthier....and the best part of this combo u can use it as a hair spray....but just to let u know i use organic oil and organic beer....hope that helps

How can I get my natural hair back after chemically straightening it?

I'm regretting getting my hair straightened two months ago which has severely damaged my hair. Now, I want my natural wavy hair back. Is there any way I can make the chemicals go away faster? Cutting my hair is not an option since it is still fairly short (medium length).

How can I get my natural hair back after chemically straightening it?

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the chemicals. You have to cut off the hair you straightened.

You can transition out of the straight look by setting your hair on rollers to get the curly/wavy look back while periodically trimming off the ends. I wouldn't recommend curling your hair with a curling iron since it is already damaged.

There are many things you can do to maximize the growth of your hair; that way your natural waves will grow out more quickly. Try drinking lots of water, fruits and veggies, healthy protein, a multivitamin, scalp massage. Basically, the healthier your body is, the faster your hair will grow, *but* most people will only grow 1/2" a month at best. Still, that could be a whole new head of hair pretty soon if your hair is medium length.

Hope this helps, Kaya

How can I get my natural hair back after chemically straightening it?

u have to wait till u get new growth

it will take some time

How can I get my natural hair back after chemically straightening it?

unfortunately, you're just gonna have to let it grow out. don't put anymore chemicals in it, but wash it as you normally would with an extra moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. also use a leave in conditioner. it's important that you not let your hair get too dry and weak during the transition. if you wanna match the natural hair with the straightening, you can either flat iron the new growth, or not do anything to the chemically treated part (if that makes sense), so it will not be so straight. i hope this help, and best of luck!

What shampoo straightens natural hair?

ok my friend has natural hair and she doesn't want to straighten or perm so what should she do because she wants it straight.

I want my natural hair color back....?

I have dyed my hair a different color every 3 months for the past year and I want to get to my natural hair color back, how could I get it back without growing it out?

I want my natural hair color back....?

i use something called a color stripper (lol) from sally's hair salon and it takes the artifical color from your hair but dont levae it on for too long! follow the directions exactly cause otherwise your hair will go a funny color (i did it and left it on for an extra ten minute, and my hair turn orange)

I want my natural hair color back....?

dont dye it anymore

I want my natural hair color back....?

Dye the hair its "natural color" The new hair will match so you should not need redying to hide the roots. Keep it cut to the length you like.

I want my natural hair color back....?

Well, first of all you need a lot of deep conditioner, my favorite is to mix the emergency from matrix with 2+1 from Sebastian and a clear celophen color from sebastian. This is great to restore your ends.

For your color try to find a permanent color similar to your natural color. Please do not use strong bleach!!!

I want my natural hair color back....?

go to the salon and ask them to use a color stripper on you're hair it works great and well take the color out of you're hair but you should deep condition you're hair for a week before you get this done so it doesn't dry out. try neutrogena deep conditioner.

I want my natural hair color back....?

There's no way you can get your natural hair color back without letting it grow back out. Sorry. Once you dye your hair you can only wait for the natural color to grow back.

How do I cover up highlights/new growth/have my natural hair color back?

I got my hair highlighted last august. My hair has grown out about 2 or 3 inches. My natural hair color is a dirty blonde light brown color so I got highlights 1 or 2 shades lighter than my natural hair color. It is really annoying b/c my hair brown then basically blonde. I don't like it. Is there any way to cover up my hightlights or dye my hair to the exact color. So then they will be covered up or at least toned down. Because I'm not doing this again. And cutting my hair is not an option. NO BRITNEY SPEARS!!!

How do I cover up highlights/new growth/have my natural hair color back?

For something like this, I'd suggest going to a professional. If you try to cover it up with store-bought dye, yourself, you could end up turning those highlights a strange shade of green, or possibly worse. However, if you MUST do it yourself, make sure that it's a golden toned haircolor; nothing that says "ash" or "neutral" in the name of the color. Those with "ash" or "neutral" bases are more likely to come out looking blue, green, or what have you.

How do I cover up highlights/new growth/have my natural hair color back?

go to a salon so a pro can put a color on it that matches your natural.do not put a box color on it.if you do most likely it's not going to match, and it will damage your hair.

How do I cover up highlights/new growth/have my natural hair color back?

You should go to a professional salon in order to get it the color that you want. If you can't really afford that right now, you might try parting your hair in a zig-zag part, because that can disguise how far your roots have gone out, and it looks really cool because it's not the same old straight line. Hope you figure something out!

How can i make my hair wavy if my natural hair is straight???

I want to do something differnt with my hair. So how do i get my hair to look wavy if my natural hair is straight. I've tried getting gel and scrunching it but it doesn't really work. So how can i get it wavy so that it looks good???

How can i make my hair wavy if my natural hair is straight???

use a curling iron...........................

How can i make my hair wavy if my natural hair is straight???

i want to do the same thing! theres something called a loose perm, or body wave. its not curly cue, its just wavy and VERY pretty. if you tell your stylist "body wave" or "loose perm", they'll know what you're talking about.

How can i make my hair wavy if my natural hair is straight???

curling spray stuff, then scrunch it

How can i make my hair wavy if my natural hair is straight???

My hair is stick stright,.. I get a soft natural "wave" perm. it lasts about 6wks. works on long %26amp; short hair. ..have it done in a salon,as they will treat hair to prepare for perm

%26amp; minimize damage or frizzy hair.

How can i make my hair wavy if my natural hair is straight???

I have the same issue. I use over-sized hot rollers. After you wrap, spray lightly with hair spray. This will give you lots of body and some nice waves. It's also better than the damaging heat of a curling iron.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

My daughter has a light to medium brown natural hair color. She had blonde highlights on the brown. Looked great to me but she decided she wanted to go all blonde. Yesterday she had it colored all blonde, but it came out blonde and brassy. I called the hairstylist to fix it. We went back today and had more put on (mainly around the roots where it was brassy). It looks even worse. Blonde, yellow, and brassy. She now wants to go back to her natural hair color. Is it possible to do this without her hair falling out? She starts high school in a few days and is in tears. Please reply fast.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

it depends on what kind of dye u used...

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Ok,

ahem.

"Fast!"

I win!

Actually, that's kind of funny, because I had highlights put in myself a few days ago...kind of a golden color on brown hair, looks pretty friggin tight I must say..

And as for your problem...that...um,

sucks.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

heck nooooo and i regret it myself u should never touch her hair it was a mistake, and now i hate lookin back at my old pictures just seeing how nice it used to be and how not nice it is now

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Uh, I am afraid that she is just going to have to wait until the hair grows itself and you have enough hair with the natural color.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

I'm not sure. She may have to just go with blonde hair for a while until her hair starts to grow back to its natural color.

In case you can't dye it back, I'd say try to give her a stylish haircut, so that she'll feel better about herself at least. And without sounding too much like a pervert, guys generally go for blondes :)

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

My sister is a cosmetologist and she had a similiar experience with my best friend who had a bad dye. She had to use some sort of solution that would strip the dye out. I would call another salon and tell them the situation, make sure you ask if they have a color specialist there, they are the ones that have done the extra training to obtain this title, and are worth their weight in gold. They may still have to add some dye or may not, that is why I recommend a specialist she will know best. Good Luck!!

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Good luck!! Her hair is probably pretty fried by now. My daughter did hers black and we ended up having to grow and cut, grow and cut, grow and cut. It's been 2 years and we almost got it.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Yes she can do it...I've had similar experiences in the past. Its really hard on your hair to bleach it but its not as bad to darken it...I haven't bleached my hair in years and have been darkening it instead and its the healthiest its ever been. It will be fine, but just be warned that unless its done by a professional and maybe even then the blonde my start to come back trhought the darker over time...I haven't had highlights in 3 years and the last time I dyed my hair was the first time I have ever been able to completely get rid of the blonde.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

turning it back is a good idea her hair wont fall of!!trust me

goodlck

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

hi there well yes it is possiable BUT the hair has to be in good condition after having 2 bleach services she really needs to condition the heck out of it,i am a cosmetoligest and see this all the time i really do not suggest buying a home color it may turn ashey(green) in order to help you i need to know what you think the excact color is now also the other thing you could do is what is called a lowlight and that is puting darker strands in

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Find a colorist good at making corrections. She should be able to help your daughter get her color back as closely as possible. It's still a possibility that some hair will break off, though, even in the hands of a very competent stylist who may have your daughter take a few deep conditioning treatments before hand,to build hair strength.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Buying any dye from a store would probably work well. As long as you go for a medium brown color, nothing too harsh. But I personally suggest that you have the hair stylist do it. The only thing to really avoid is lightening it anymore.

I would suggest using an unnatural dye such as Special Effects, as they are really gentle on the hair and do not cause breakage. However unless she wants pink or purple hair... or would like to be a red head, I doubt either of you would go for it. =P

Although, they do have toner which should remove the yellow tint and make it more of a 'white-blonde'. And causes little damage in the process.

Whichever the case, make sure to get a good conditioner if she used bleach to lighten her hair.

Good luck, I hope things work out for her.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Hi Gina

I am someone who had her hair in almost every color possible except green :)

My natural color is also brown. I dyed it it blonde two years ago. Didnt like it also.

Dont worry about your daughters hair falling off after additional color application, thats NOT going to happen if thats her first time as blonde. What she has to do is to buy a hair color 1-2 shades darker than her natural and try it. If her current color is too yellow, what you need to do is additionally to the brown shade you must also buy one ash brown color and mix those two together. Ash color kills the yellow.

It might come out a little brighter than her natural, because the base is blonde. But at least she will get back more natural look. And use some restoring/nourishing shampoos/conditioners for now.

Then wait 2-3 weeks and color it brown again if required if not, leave it to grow.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Their is a product called second nature that is a deposit only color. It has no ammonia so it is not as damaging to the hair. It would have to be done in a salon though because it is a professional color.I'm sorry it happened. If she were my client,I would have tried to talk her out of it to begin with.If she does it, she will have to stay natural until it grows back out. To re apply lightener after all the hair has been through would be very bad. Also,it may fade off gradually,so you are looking at re applying about every six to eight weeks. Good luck to you.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

She will eventually get her natural colour back..it won't happen for her in time for school though. Hair dye untreated will stay in the hair for around six weeks, but because she has peroxided her hair, it will go that copper orange colour, then it will fade oout slowly. She can dye it back to medium brown, it shouldn't effect her but just to be on the safe side, do an allergy test to make sure that she will be okay.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

Go to a hairstylist, and ask the stylist for "reverse-streaks". Together, the three of you can look at hair swatches for a close match to her own natural color.

The hairstylsit will then pull streaks or do foils but instead of using bleach, she'll use her natural color and as an end result, she'll look as if she has had her own color, highlighted.

Can my daughter get her hair dyed back to her natural color after coloring it?

It is possible to get it a color closer to her natural color or at least enough to blend it so that she could just let it grow that way.If her hair doesn't seem to damaged, wait at least a week before putting anything else on it. When you darken it, go at least a shade lighter then the color you want because the color might grab since her hair has been lightened. Avoid ash tones because it might turn it green or gray. Try a nuetral or beige tone.
